Product Support & Quality issue

What is the recommended storage method for Overture Filament?

At Overture, we’re committed to delivering high-quality filament through every purchasing channel.

To ensure optimal filament performance, we recommend:

  • Storage Temperature: 15–25°C (59–77°F)
  • Storage Environment: A sealed or airtight container is ideal to prevent moisture exposure
  • Usage: Use filament within 1 year of receipt for best results, as it may no longer be vacuum-sealed or ideally stored

If your filament feels damp or shows signs of moisture—especially with materials like PETG,High Speed TPU,TPU, Nylon, ASA,or ABS—please refer to our ”Filament Drying Guide” in the FAQ section. Drying your filament can often restore its original print quality.

Tech Questions

Which Filament ls Best for Outdoor or UV-Resistant Prints?

For outdoor use, ASA is the best choice due to its excellent UV resistance, weather durability, and strength—ideal for parts exposed to sunlight long-term.

PETG is a solid, easy-to-print alternative with good durability and moderate UV resistance, suitable for short- to medium-term outdoor use where some flexibility is acceptable.

Need Something Different?

If these options don’t fit your needs, we’d love to learn more about your project. Sharing details like the use environment, performance requirements, or printability concerns helps inform our product development.
