  • High-Strength PLA+ (PLA Plus) — 2-Pack Value Bundle

Save more and keep your printer running with the OVERTURE PLA Professional 2-Pack. Same professional-grade PLA Pro / PLA+ formula — offering up to 5x the impact toughness of standard PLA — now in a convenient twin-spool bundle. Each spool is individually vacuum-sealed to maintain freshness.

  • Clog-Free & Bubble-Free

Our PLA Pro patented anti-clog formula prevents nozzle jams and voids for a trouble-free printing experience. Each spool is dried for 24 hours before vacuum-sealing to eliminate moisture-induced bubbles and popping during printing.

  • Dimensional Accuracy & Consistency

Manufactured with real-time CCD diameter monitoring and closed-loop controls, every spool holds a strict ±0.02mm tolerance on 1.75mm filament. Reliable, consistent extrusion and strong layer adhesion — print after print.

  • Less Tangle & Hassle

Every spool is manually inspected for winding quality before shipment. Our large-diameter inner spool design minimizes friction during feeding, delivering a smooth, tangle-free printing experience from start to finish.

  • Wide Compatibility & Quality Guarantee

Compatible with virtually all FDM printers supporting 1.75mm PLA filament. Prints at standard temperatures (190–230°C) with no enclosure needed. Backed by Overture's quality guarantee and dedicated customer support.

FAQ

How Does Overture PLA PROFESSIONAL Compare to PLA & Super PLA+?
PLA Professional is an enhanced version of PLA that maintains its ease of printability while being suitable for engineering applications. Compared to Super PLA+, PLA Professional offers greater bending strength, whereas Super PLA+ boasts exceptional Charpy impact toughness. Therefore, PLA Professional provides a balanced combination of strength and rigidity, making it a versatile choice for various projects.
What is the Color Change Cycle for the Color Sunset Rainbow?
The total length of a color change cycle is about 80 meters. A 1 kg roll contains approximately 4 color change cycles, featuring six distinct colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. In one cycle, the lengths of each color are roughly as follows: red (10-12m), orange (10-12m), yellow (4-5m), green (6-7m), blue (10-12m), and purple (6-7m). For smaller prints, the gradient effect may not be very pronounced. To enhance the gradient effect, you can increase the material consumption in your slicer settings.
Does a Humid or Underwater Environment Affect its Performance and Durability?
Yes, a humid or underwater environment can adversely affect the performance and durability of PLA and its variants. PLA is biodegradable and prone to moisture absorption, which can lead to a decrease in mechanical properties and print quality over time. In underwater settings, prolonged exposure to water can further degrade the material. If you need a more durable option for these environments, consider using Overture ASA, which offers better resistance to moisture and UV light.
Does a High-temperature Environment Affect its Strength?
Yes, high temperatures can significantly affect the strength of PLA and its variants. PLA has a relatively low glass transition temperature of around 60°C (140°F), making it susceptible to softening and deformation when exposed to elevated temperatures. For applications that require better heat resistance, here are the Vicat Softening Temperatures of other materials: - PETG: 85.1°C - ABS: 103.4°C - ASA 106.2°C - PC Professional: 110.3°C - Easy Nylon: 181.2°C
Is Tangling Common? How Do I Solve It?
Although tangling is one of the most common quality issues, our tangle complaint rate is only about 0.00012. If your print fails due to filament tangling or jamming, try unwinding 8-10 loops of the filament to locate the tangled section, then carefully wind it back onto the spool. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service for a proper resolution.
