Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the distinctions between PLA, PLA Pro, and Super PLA+?

PLA, PLA Pro, and Super PLA+ are all types of PLA. Here's a breakdown of their differences:

  • PLA (Good): Available in a wide array of colors, PLA is a cost-effective choice for visually appealing prints.

  • PLA Pro (Better): This premium variant offers stiffness comparable to PLA but with added toughness and impact resistance, making it ideal for demanding applications.

  • Super PLA+ (Best): Our most durable option yet! Super PLA+ boasts exceptional ductility and resistance to impact. Even under extreme stress, it won't crack but instead may deform or elongate.

Are HS-TPU and TPU the same thing?

Absolutely! 'HS' stands for 'High Speed,' indicating that it can be printed three times faster than standard TPU. Despite the increased speed, both are still classified as 95A TPU.

Which materials should undergo drying?

All materials benefit from drying! For best results, we advise investing in filament dryer (and not living in a swamp).
